How Cardio Scan built a lean, automated shipping process with Sendcloud
For years, Cardio Scan has stood for innovative medical technology: its checkpoints combine ECG and blood-pressure measurement and can run body-composition and metabolic analyses. Last year the company also entered the nutrition market with a nutrient bar that supports weight reduction. You eat seven to nine bars a day and cover your entire nutritional needs.
Cardio Scan wanted to offer a healthy product that didn’t exist yet: a bar that gives you “something to bite into,” that isn’t too chemical, stimulates the metabolism and still doesn’t lead to a loss of muscle mass.

Keeping shipping lean while entering a new market
As Cardio Scan expanded from medical technology into nutrition products, it needed order handling to stay lean and fully automated, so a growing new product line wouldn’t add manual work.

Automated, multi-site shipping with Sendcloud
When orders come in at Cardio Scan, they are processed in Hamburg, where delivery notes and shipping labels are created and then forwarded to Quackenbrück. There the nutrient bars are packed and shipped to customers via Sendcloud.
With Sendcloud, the shipping process became faster, simpler and more cost-effective. Orders can be imported directly from the shop, which saves valuable time and work. Cardio Scan can also offer multiple shipping options, print shipping labels in a single click, combine carriers, brand and automatically send tracking emails, and run its own returns portal.
